Now it's the season for jolly jaunts to France, some of you may have been here. But did you spot the sign over the door?

if the sign describes the kitchen then you may be right...

St Vaast - long odds

i wd agree - but the car number plates say 22 which is departement of cote d'armor just west of st malo. So it could be st brieuc, or along there. More advanced google-cheats than me might now search sl's posts for recent trips along the lines of "went to paimpol, had big engine problems, came straight home a week later, bah". Treguier er st brieuc, that lot.

"i dont know where it is but dont grot in french mean GROW ?"

Err, no. Grotte means a cave, as opposed to cave whch means cellar. However, grot doesn't seem to mean anything according to my petit Larousse. Maybe it means something in the local lingo, like 'ra' apparently means 'the' in Scuttlebutt Scottish?

I too think you may be right. The one up the hill on the right..... why is it any marina in brittany involves a hill to the town.
