I think the inlet is too long and narrow for S.Rona and I cannot place the spit of land to the left. Perhaps the light isn't allowing the rocks to show pink Donald? Might it be in Morvern?

See where you're coming from. Don't think the hills are high enough for Morven. I don't know where the answer, Loch Roe, is. Will have to Google.

Just had a look at the Admiralty and Antares charts. Looks a perfect anchorage. I now just have to get round Coigach....

I hate threads like this, because just when I had decided to move the boat to warm places where the men wear espadrilles, the marinas are ruinously expensive and the clotted cream flows like, erm, bitumen, I suppose, you all show me wonderful places to the north which I have to explore. Grr.
