Here is a bit of a puzzle for those none sailing days ahead of us.

Where is this? Taken on a late september cruise this year.

Great indian summer cruise, except had to motor all of the way from Bradwell (a clue there, maybe ) due to lack of wind.

I thought it was Harty, too (my home patch!) but the background seems not quite right. If it's there, it would be looking W at sunset, not a dawn pic, but there should be some tall thin chimblies in the distance and they are not in evidence.
If not Harty, what about South Deep, a couple of miles W of Harty?

Sorry for the delay, work stuff got in the way.

Yes, it's Hamford waters well done everyone. More precisely the entrance to the Walter Backwaters just after the 'fork' at, what I think is called Stone Point.

With the sun going down, the light gave this amazing yellow hue. Quite stunning.

This shot was taking during that amazing warm and calm weekend in late September.

I had been told how peaceful the backwaters are, but when I got up there, it seems that most of the East coast sailors had the same idea. Still a great place to anchor. I had to get back the following day, but would love to go back and stay for a day or two to explore the place some more. Maybe next year.

Gitane.

A bit quieter up here, LW + 2 in one of the channels which snake across Horsey Mere just to the north of Titchmarsh Marina
