I was born and bred in Lytham St Annes......never seen the sea yet..........best place in the world for Sand yacht racing.

Lived there when I was a great deal younger. I seem to remember seeing the sea at least once in a while. Place has changed now though, the steam trains don't go under the bridge any more, and the fields are all built on!

I agree Brendan, our house was surrounded by fields( Cricket ground et) and a small farm, now a huge housing estate....still will always be a "Sandgrownan"
