When selling an auto-tiller, should I include plugs?

I have no need for my ST1000+ auto tiller, as I am only on inshore waters.

I am putting it on ebay with the six pin plug attached:

The other end is attached to my boat:

Would a buyer expect both ends to be included in the sale, or are these standard fittings?

I have no need for the female end, but I don't want a hole on my deck.

thanks
Jerry

Just leave the female bulkhead socket where it is you may find a use for the 12v supply and it will save you having to fill in a hole.
I disagree. Buy a two pin socket for your boat and replace the special six pin one as shown. Your tilkerpilot Will be much more attractive as a sale item with the right connectors with it.

A two pin 12 V socket in the cockpit is useful thing. You could have a 12 V powerful lamp or a pump for your dinghy or charge your phone.

Having gone through the headache of replacing Tillerpilot plugs / sockets ......... I suggest include both plug and socket in the sale.

As another suggested - fit a 2 pin 12V outlet in the hole left by the socket ....

BUT TBH ... I would keep the ST1000 .... even when I am on the river - its one of the best bits of kit I have on the boat .... I can relax ... enjoy the river and the scenery ... tend sails, wine, butties, etc.

I would recommend including the socket, as otherwise reduces the value and attractiveness.

I recently bought some otherwise attractive used Raymarine kit on eBay. Cables were missing and difficult to obtain. I found a source of the cables but reduce my maximum bid substantially to compensate.
In the end nobody else chose to bid, perhaps due to lack of cables. It might prove to be a bargain, assuming it works as described AND the cables actually arrive. (Otherwise it won’t be a bargain ;-)

When I had to replace the 'data' plug / socket combo on my tillerpilot .... getting the original was near impossible. In the end I bought a more commonly available similar plug / socket combo .... which proved better than the original.

Sorry to say this .... but each time I have had dealings with Raymarine - I have found it a disappointing exercise.

If you buy a Bulgin Bucanneer 2 pin plug and socket with the caps you can just change the insert in the socket. The cap has a castellated form that is used to unscrew the retaining collar and allow you to swop the inserts. You then have a useful power socket and no hole to fill and the buyer has a complete setup.
