when is a \"new user\" not a \"new user\"?

Just noticed that my posts are still marked as 'new user', whilst other forumites who have posted less, and have been a member for less time are marked as 'regular' posters.

Doesn't bother me, but I am confused.

I must admit but I noticed this tonight!

Regards.

Peter.

Could it be that anyone who was a New User at the stage of the xmas upgrade are now in a state of limbo?

You are still a new user at several thousand posts. One or twenty thousand doesn't matter, you still come under scrutiny of your peers, and post accordingly

Please don't take any of the F10 posts on Mobochat seriously though, I was just winding Gludy up

I don't know about exceeding 9,000 posts though. Requires some sort of formal recognition: COF or IOB status. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: NOT FIXED

Heartiest congratulations, tempered by a little jealousy.

Poor spv737 and I have both been passed over for promotion. I'm sure that if we both try harder we will be given every consideration next time.

As in all aspects of life, sometimes you're the pigeon, and sometimes the statue.

NAS

After 9,000 posts and still going strong; only an Order of Recognition truly reflecting such a suberb effort could possibly do:

Certified Old Fart.

Irascible Old Bastard.

Case OF Fosters should receive honourable mention. Perhaps even bestowed upon the recipient as well.

Well I'm a new user with exactly 10 posts, so if I just press this little button....
