So how many people are re-considering the need for a wheelhouse/bimini following wimbeldons normal weather/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Have to say that having just returned from an 8 day Solent -Salcombe and back trip in some really mixed weather, the first time I put on my oilies was in the dinghy to get ashore yesterday back at Portchester.

Mine is a half wheel house with a canvas cover that is rigged over the after half... totally brilliant, additionally it adds a month or so to both ends of the sailing season.

One other point is that having just also had a warning from the specialist who shaved off a damaged piece of skin from my right cheek 10 days back, quote, "unless you want to become a season ticket holder at the clinic be careful with the sun whilst sailing"

The w/house helps with this also.

All best Nick

Personally I'm considering taking up crochet as being a more suitable indoor hobby and considerably cheaper than sailing
