your boat, some are very feminine boats and some are males , which is yours.

Our is defiantly a female, fast, fun and great to Handel./forums/images/icons/wink.gif, great mover though all her paces, nice curves, and can go topless easily.

dunno, it's an insect and my entymology isn't that great, at least not enough to tell whether it's female or not but I think it's the female of the species. At least it costs enough. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

I think your question is very speciesist!

Mine is a bitch, we don't have the word female in our dictionary! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

She is very demanding, throws the odd strop, is never happy with her wardrobe (sails), never has enough sheets. And will always remember anything I do wrong, throwing it back in my face at a later date.

The only redemption, I pee on her foredeck, see <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.topcatsail.co.uk>Woof

"She`s a bit uneven at the front Chatters incessantly at speed and high maintenence."

Gods reply after checking his records was Mr Honda even with all your expertese more men **** my model than yours

Mine's Male,

It's got one of those long narrow pointy bits that the Americans like to wave around, especially when they're on the pull (the anchor of course!).

And if your not careful where you put it when coming alongside a classy princess you could leave a mark that proves very expensive.

Mine is bi-sexual. So sleek and feminine to ride but with macho stamina in the engine room .... the best of both worlds

All boats are said to be female because...

Because she's often surrounded by a great deal of bustle.

Because it takes a lot of costly paint and polish to keep her looking good.

Becuase if the initial cost doesn't break you, you'll be done in by the upkeep.

Because she responds better to a firm but loving hand.

Because she shows off her topsides, hides her bottom, and can be observed
running around between various buoys.

Because when she is old and tired, even though she may become a reluctant crank
and a creaking old hulk, there will still be some who will recall her in her
prime.

And because as long as she has life and vitality, and keeps her good name, she
will always find men to love her, to serve her, and see that she gets home
safely.

Btw...a bit of trivia: the Roman Goddess of Navigation was Minerva, and since Roman times all boats have been deemed feminine in her honor.

Otoh, all computers can ONLY be male...because unless you only give them instructions they like, only in terms they can understand easily, they refuse to do anything. But if a computer were female, it would argue with you...telling you in no uncertain terms--and in great detail-- exactly WHY it doesn't want to do what you're asking of it and what you should do about it. :)

Powerskipper...as always, your spelling needs some work:) I would point you in the direction of HeadMistress - but she ain't a scolastic headmistress!!

Anyway...I do try to refer to my Windy as "she" - but it doesn't just fit right somehow. In fact, I reckon all Windy boats are "he".

"Coney Island" can schmoose the knickers off the feistiest female, freighten the pants off all other seemingly more powerful contenders, and in boat years, comes from an age when all gentlemen were like David Niven and Fred Astair. Never loud or aggresive - but carries a big punch. Never treads on toes - but knows how to dance. And all boating virgins return having lost their virginity, but feeling more mellow and more worldly for the experience.
