What is your New Year Boating Resolution?

As a newbie to boating mine is simply to become a good skipper ... or at least as much as that is possible within the year.... an oh yes ... to stop spending so much on the boat.

There are many really experienced sailors amongst you lot, so what is your resolution?

I have 'bin' doing lots of family things and working very hard too boot to pay for this new interest of mine.

Even so I have managed to get down to the boat about once a week .... its difficut to get the same domestic support for this weekly venture in the cold weather, so I have to be very good all week to clock up the brownie points.

I agree, there is little chance of blocking the hole in the pocket.

Mine is to win the lottery bigtime so I can tell a Sunseeker salesman that I can afford to buy his boat but he will have to try and make an appointment with me!!!
