What does the |ROmeo flag mean to you?

No meaning at all, but I understand it used to mean "The way is off my ship - you may feel your way past me."

I see it fairly frequently around here on race control/rescue boats.

Australian merchant deck officers use 'romeo' as a radio pro-word meaning the same as 'roger', i.e. 'received and understood'.

Hence we remembered its use by the proword "Randy" and "Whisky" for flag "W" meaning "I require medical assistance."

Both were great starters for chats when giving bridge tours to visiting nurses.
