What does the panel think?

I'm being told that 800 hours on a single diesel, 6 years old, is depressing market value of my boat. Does that seem credible?

800 hours use on a car at average 30mph is 24000 miles - barely run in. Or is my perspective wrong?

Got to agree with Sybarite. A well maintained business car with 80k on the clock is most likely to be a better buy than grannie's shopping wagon with 5k in five years. The engine is either knackered or not, a lot younger engines drop con rods!
