what about marinising truck engines

is there kits to marinise big lorry engines. any body done it ? how many thousands of pounds? bound to be expensive , mention boat and everything doubles in price, or is it just me

Lancing sell the bits for truck lumps, New Hollands and the like. Not wrong on the prices though, arm and a leg stuff.

Roughly a grand for a marinising kit plus the cost of the engine.

I have done it, only take it on if you are handy with a spanner and have plenty of perserverance and expect to keep the boat a long time.
Otherwise change your boat.
