Thinking of buying one of the above as a tender. Seems to pack up very small and weighs only 18kg so they say. Any comments from existing owners?

I've just ordered one from Purple Marine (£365 - v. good price), and am awaiting delivery. After having a good look at one in a chandler's I thought it would meet my needs, especially in terms of weight.

Had a 230 Wetline with wooden floor slats. Quite heavy. Large diameter tubes and wooden transom gave very little useable space.(1.5 adults). Rowing position not comfortable - thwart too high. Supplied two piece oars corroded at joint & snapped. Fixed rowlocks do not allow feathering - continually catching crabs in slight lop. Would certainly advise use of o/b. Eventually upgraded to very old Redstart!.

We have had a wetline 230RT for 2 years now with the inflatable floor and it works very well. We have had up to 4 adults in it, but I would not advise this. We greatly value the fact that it can be folded down to just about any shape you have room for, it is relativly light and goes well with our 25ft Yacht. Powered by a honda 2 hp works fine.
