We run well over a dozen sites and no one here has ever heard of website insurance. It may exist but I wouldn't bother about it.

The only "insurance" you might think about is backing up the work regularly and placing a disclaimer on your site about the information so if some idiot reads a throwaway comment, takes it the wrong way and shoots themself you're not to blame.

The digital insurance is just not true.

What are your field of operations re insurance?
I thought you were in the business of trailing boats up to 26 feet long? What else do you need to cover?

If you act as an agent for Insurance or charge/cover any one for Insurance on your Goods in Transit policy you may need to contact the FSA.
As from 14/1/05 you may need PI Insurance. Expect premiums to start from £1000.
No liability accepted for any of this content, very brief over view, send me an email if anyone really interested.
