Here we go typical English weather early in week showed high pressure wide isobars winds NW to E Latest not looking so good, isobars closing, Sat 7am to Sun 7pm for Northforeland to Selsey Bill E-NE to E-SE F4 -5 .
Sunday E to SE force 4, which will make Dover Straits pretty grumpy er sorry lumpy.

Dont think Joanne has been to sea before to would be cruel start. May reconsider

Clive just watched local TV forecast, they are 1 up on your figures eg. F5-6 and its all easterlies. Certainly it's blowing a fair bit here. Ummm bumpy. Where is the boat now? how about doing the Thames bit and calling it on the way, getting a berth on the way should be easy at this time of the year, Berth vacant at Chatham I understand /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
