Wanted 55gal plastic barrels

I have a post in the want ads but I thought a double up here may also help.

My ageing pontoon is in need of some extra lift and stability and I would like to get hold of some of those 55gal plastic barrels, many sites in the USA sell them but of course there are none in the UK. As I reside on the IOW this may prove difficult or expensive or both................ any ideas anyone?

I have some , I want ten pounds each for em .
6 make a very stable ten x six pontoon.
You can see what their like as I used em to make a pontoon for danbrit look on my web site.

Hi,
You might want to check your local Carwash,They get their soap and waxes in them. I'm sure that they would be happy to give them to you FREE of CHARGE!

thanks Mick ...... but if I had a spare £60 I would buy a 2nd hand floatation unit.

so why wast your time !!
It cost me £5.00 each barrel but then I had to drive to Coventry and back to collect them so it's not like I was trying to make money .
