Hi seastoke,
There is nothing wrong with them. But I have read reports of them failing which can cause piston damage and this would be extremely costly. The injector nozzles
can be easily damaged if any water passes through them. I just bought the boat last year and it's just turned 1000 hrs. I just thought it could be wise to have them tested
as a precaution.

That is quite correct. Hosing injector nozzles can wreck an engine PDQ . This is particularly true if operating at WOT.
