Volvo MD 2020 - Anode & Water Drain Plug

Q1 - Is there an anode on this engine? Can't find one and no mention in manual.

Q2 - Any suggestions for loosening the 10mm (or could be 11mm) square, fresh water drain plug. Mine does not seem to have ever been out and engine is now 7 years old. Also, it is in an awkward place, directly behind the oil suction pipe preventing "square-on" access. Manual indicates a convenient "thumb turn" key but sadly not so in my case.

Any similar experiences out there?

Q1: there isn't one

Q2: there is no drain tap, just a square headed plug; this can be removed with a little effort.
