Just watched a documentary of the coast of Galicia,it’s all bloody rocks,jagged sheets of rocks stretching out into the sea no wonder it’s callled the coast of death,apptley named?

They leave crossing the bay too late and are rushing south a heater to keep the damp at bay and they could spend the winter.

I would not disagree, fantastic area. You could spend years exploring all the Rias.
Cheap too when using your anchor.

Costa del Morte the Spanish call it, and it's strewn with rocks and reefs with names like "The Witches", "Grief", "The Wolf", "The Englishman's Grave". The one below which we narrowly missed, translates as "The Picklock".

It's also one of the world's best cruising grounds.

Remember when we sailed across it, one of the ports/towns had a mural with the "Costa del Morte" on one of the walls, with skeletons and sinking ships on it as well.
We did chuckle
