VHF/DSC

I am looking at a few s/hand VHF/DSC radios, but I have noticed that some (the cheap ones) dont have a Number Pad, does this limit the capabilites of them to just sending DSC Distress messages because they appear to have no more features than a H/h VHF/DSC which can only send distress messages.

Did you read about the Silva M55 DSC VHF deal new at £169.99 in Aladdins cave & £179 with free P&P at Semark Nunn ? It may be a better way to go with a years warranty!!

where? I would like exactly that - it fit's the flush mount kit currently holding my 1 year old RD64.
Now anyone want a 1 year old RD64, perfect working order, can be tried out etc - 99 squid..../forums/images/icons/smile.gif
