VHF Course Required

I need to get myself on a VHF course pretty sharpish. The location would preferably be in the Midlands, Berkshire or the south west coast if around/on a weekend. I understand the course can normally be completed in a day.

Any help on this appreciated.

The RYA website has a list of centres for each of its courses. Log onto http://www.rya.org.uk/ and look under Training for the course and then go to the list of centres which is arranged by region.

Thoroughly recommend the sailing school at the National Sports Centre, Bisham Abbey near Marlow berks. Their number is on the RYA site under recommended schools. Super spot on the Thames and excellent instructors.Bisham Abbey Sailing School.

Having just completed my VHF SRS conversion course, last week

Among being ex big ship, John is involved with local life boat etc, so knows how to connect with small boaters like our selves, as well as training the professionals.
