It,s the "ASGARD", Irish STS, She comes here to Waterford regularly, nice ship, the original was in Kilmainham Jail Dublin until recently, Erskin Childers boat, it was used to run guns into Ireland, Howth Harbour.

In one of the early tall ships races, Asgard's performance improved steadily during the whole race, probably due to the excessive Guiness stocks that they had as ballast.

Actually it's 'Asgard 2'. I did a trip on her in the Irish Sea one stormy October, a fine ship and a wonderful crew. She's even been as far as Oz, now that must have been some trip.
