Hi guys and girls sorry if I've posted in wrong place..
Ive recently perchanced a job lot of outboards for parts only wanted the johnson 10hp for parts but had to have them all.. Anyway in the pile was a valmet tern 6hp which i initially put straight up forsale as spares or repairs but was informed of it running.. So being let down twice for the sale I decided to have a look at it.. Added fuel 3pulls and boom it was running and running sweet.. Apart from being stuck in gear.. I asked, serched, posted but very little information available for these.. The gear leave moves back and forth and in and out but none of which neutrals the motor.. I also have the lower unit off and it has an impeller for what looks like exhaust cooling, gear linkage looks like its at the top end of the motor.. I'd love some information on this motor as it seems a very decent bit of kit and will keep it now has a spare
