It is time for me to step into what has become an unpleasant thread.

First of all, "where you are going", you will not need the use of a dinghy. I am preparing an information pack with contacts and details of facilities and who operates them with personal introductioms for you.

Secondly, you don't have to worry about a pump. I happen to have 2 of these foot pumps that deflate and inflate.

When you have been where you first intend to go and then go where you intend to go next, the pump you need will be delivered to you as a special present.

Now, how's that ? :D

Kind regards

Hi David,

there are good (and very cheap) pontoon moorings at Terceira, but I can understand the need elsewhere (did you say you were heading to Gibraltar afterwards ?). There will almost certainly be times when you would regret having another thing to worry about, so packing it away would be my advice also. I am hoping to be at Plymouth to see off the starters so perhaps we could have that beer which remains outstanding since 2008 I believe !!!.

Good luck with the prep, and forget the nonsense on here.

David,

You are not to worry about a thing.

If you need the use of a rubber boat on your visit here you have the use of my Redcrest with oars and a 4HP Mariner.

Any other requirement I will instruct the boatman to render you any assistance you may need.

Of course, needless to say, the Corniche with Whitewall Tyres with chauffeur will be at your disposal as well, rest assured.:D

Kind Regards,

Albert.

what amazes me is that you had a thought of doing it

He is only asking...
After all the Azores High stretches for miles and miles and miles, seas like glass...
But there again the white horses appear on the fringes in their usual playful frolics.
So anyone is entitled to ask....
But that does not give the right to replies being downright rude IMHO, do you see or not see ?
