Does anybody know where I can get good Toe-Rail Cushions from in the UK, (not insulation pipe covers!)

You might want to look at a suitable profiled fender strip.

There is a good supplier on the South Coast, Seals Direct

Blimey. Your crew must love you! I normally make mine do with 1.5" plastic pipe split down the middle on the toe rail and pipe insulation on the middle wire!

It's easy to use the pipe insulation, but then grab a length of suitable canvas on ebay (my last bit - 5' x 12' natural heavy canvas cost me £4 incl post). Stitch the canvas into an oversized tube shape while you're sat watching telly one night, place over the pipe insulation, and tuck the line of stitching inside the insulation. Lasts ages, and when the pipe insulation finally crumbles you just chuck another bit in....
