To tint or not to tint

Took this photo of our boat last weekend while heading out and I was thinking it looked pretty cool with the curtins drawn which got me thinking should I tint the windows . Its probably a bad idea ?

The saloon windows on our Azi are tinted. I really like them, as it gives us a bit more privacy.

Don't know about "looking" cool but out in the med tinted glass useful for actually keeping cool and cutting back on UV degradation of upholstery etc. Leave the front screen though if you navigate at night.

Blueglass cool was probably the wrong choice of word to use . only reason I would have for doing it would be to enhance the overall look of the boat also to protect the timber work cushions ect . wouldn't do the front screens as I find it hard enough to navigate as it is

Tinting the windows can cut down on the sun damage to the interior.
