Thru hulls with large flange

I was thinking to replace some of the thruhulls on my sailboat. Now there is an issue with this thruhull (in the photos). The size is 3/4, but it has a much wider flange than the thruhulls you can buy today. I already bought a replacement, but the flange on the new one is much smaller. My question is if anyone is familiar with this type of thruhull with a larger flange? My concern is if the diameter of the hole through the hull would be so wide that the new replacement thruhull would be to small. Then I would have to fibreglass/epoxy around it to make the hole smaller, or install a bigger thruhull. I have a feeling the diameter of the hole is the same, so that a thruhull with a smaller flange would fit, but there is no way to know for sure without taking out the old thruhull... So that's why I wanted to ask you guys, what do you think?

The through hull will be the same external thread diameter as the 3/4" valves are all the same size so will fit your hole.
