Thread Hijacking

Wot should I clean my inflateable tender with? It's all covered in Maldon Mud, which as we all know does not wash off!!!
Also, what is the depth over the (insert name of mudbank here) this year?
Finally, which anchor is best for a heavy displacement boat cruising the East Coast?
Oh, and is my 4'6" draught going to restrict me on the East Coast?
Finally again, when is the Pirate Weekend?
East coast enough? :-)

Excellent!

Here's a few more:

Who is the greatest east coast-based yacht designer, ever (MG, KH, AB, OL?......??)

Was MG YM's best editor ever?

you were right guys, he behaved exactly as predicted - we thought that might draw you out 'elsie'.

Tut tut tut, you just can't resist posting the same old lies can you. Only this time you have made it obvious that you are not some completely uninvolved person but indeed do have some local knowledge. Care to tell us all who you are?

Interesting how you haven't posted anything of consequence since your splenetic rants on the suspended thread.

Humm, might I say that from observations and reading various postings in these ere columns there does seem to be an element of 'Essex Lads' nowadays, where else have posts come from stating various misdemeanors in Yacht Clubs and 'multi' personas etc etc, than in the Newly revised ECF.
Blimey even the new ECF flag has two sides to it, so two faced, what has happened to the kindly courteous East Coast boatmen and yachties that used to frequent those Essex and Suffolk shores?

Well Romford Navy your mask did not stay for long. Plots and drawing out what a load of tut. I do have some knowledge of the area you are quite correct. Just bought a house on returning from Italy. From the week after next will be getting to know it even better when I become a commuter again after many years away. However as Neal B quite correctly infers in earlier posts its time to move on a lesson you might like to head as well.

Sad day

Sad day in paradise...

Till this thread I have never had the desire or the inclination to add ECF residents to my 'ignore user' list.
Just added some and about the entire last third of this thread dissapeared - and the thread's better for it.

This place is getting more like The Bilge every day. :(

Silly season in full swing unfortunately Guapa...

Those of us that have been around ECF for a while should just ignore the trolls and the newbies that wade into arguments like seasoned lounge posters....which I'm sure some of them are.

I come here for pilotage, local news, the excellent notice to Mariners updates and to occasionally add something (hopefully..) interesting for other local boat owners.

Having a row from behind a key board, safe in the knowledge you can't be identified is a little bit sad and I can't help feeling sorry for the dual identity/banned and returned posters/trolls that try to spoil forums that are usually friendly and useful for the users.

The ignore list sounds good!

For the last few years, I've applied first coat a different colour to the top coat to make it easy (as I always use a can per coat). So Shogun Grey first followed by Mid Blue...
