A few years ago, we had to stay in Mallorca for a week/10 days to meet the kids.Yep, santa ponsa is (nearly) always a safe bet - if santa ponsa is no good then palma nova will be ok and vice versa.
But regardless of that I dont have a giro - it would mean I'd have nowhere to store my fenders! my boat is the windy 25 nearest the camera - too small for giros
It was in the middle of August so rather than go into a marina and get "ripped off", we stayed on anchor.
The weather wasn't very good to us so we alternated between Santa Ponsa and Palmanova

Good selection of restaurants in both places.
