The Welsh Med is now open.

We have our sailing dinghy now. Next season you may see a foreign pirate mobo on a PD visitor mooring with an alarming frequency. Leave some booze out as an offering :p

You'll be a fleet of pirates.

I am not worried about the booze - you drink like a fairy. Its my tinned grapefruit and potatoes that I'll hide! ?

Only when at anchor and have to keep an eye on the rest of you clowns. Wait till I'm moored up and can catch up. :p As for your Das Boot grub, you're welcome to it. No chance I'll be pilfering that. Cant speak for the boy though. He has worms to feed.

You only keep an eye on us to see when you are dragging :p

Tinned food is luxury, its when its in dehydrated/powder form you know you are in trouble!

Tinned food is luxury,..............

All of us have our idiosyncrasies :ROFLMAO: Yours is unique though to be fair. Anyway your tinned grapefruit would kill me. Not metaphorically either. So you are quite safe. Just leave the booze locker open.

btw as PDSC is not doing training at the moment we may have to borrow your kids to train ours and hope they dont develop their own rebellious enclave.

Good news that the family is getting involved with sailing, its a good setup there.

We may not be at PD for the whole season next year, plenty to sort out. But we'll see.
Difficult to know what's going on at the moment!
Boat is ashore now and we will sit tight and see what is possible in the spring and how are our working routines. (y)

Me? No. But as the kids reach their teen years they want to try their hands at kneeboarding, wake boarding, sailing etc. I cant confine them to the boat while I stretch out on the sunbed and practice sedentary meditation and general goofing off. Gone are the days of Netflix the Babysitter.

Th local at PD will suite you, oh yes it’s called The Pink Palace , perfect to go with you brogues and cravat.

And you know this? How? We plan on simply catching a visitor mooring. Maybe sail the dinghy down to Aber with the boat in tow. It wont be every weekend nor even most weekends. Just another opportunity to go with the SUP and little RIB

Where down south are you heading

I’m seriously thinking about Exmouth or Torquay for next year, I’ve about had enough of the Welsh Government and the marina’s cash cow attitude to non locals.
I feel like I am subsidising local boat owners again right now like May and June, they could quite easily shut the marina, get rid of some staff and give us some money back.

Where down south are you heading

Not 100% sure yet.
We would like July in Aberystwyth, when the kids are off school and August we will try to go as far south as we can. All dependent on working routines and weather.
So that leaves us with a couple of months to fill prior to July, which we hope to be around PD.

That's the current thinking anyway.

Aberystwyth I had the dubious honour of doing a MoB there, that entrance can be tricky when the swells come in. :p While down there you should visit Aberdovey. It's a fantastic lagoon especially for the kids. It's where we normally try and go with them during the summer holidays

Was that when you were viewing a boat [Sunfury funnily enough]? Seem to recall you mentioning this over a tipple..

Yes, plenty of places to explore that way. Not Anglesey, but different. Just need a bigger boat (y) :p
