The Welsh Med is now open.

About? We havent seen you this year. You probably made off with a fellow pirates horde and we wont see you again until you've drunk it all.

There's nothing attractive to see there or do. I'd sooner go to VD. What's with you marina hoppers? Cut that shorepower umbilical. Anyway you are almost certainly not going to get a place as the River Festival regatta will be doing a circumnavigation of Anglesey and will have prebooked all available space.

I smell a trap, coming!

Leave tomorrow, I'll catch up. The waves come Friday will be rather exciting. I'll put the go-pro on. Hopefully it will wash some of the gullshite off the new canvas hood.

Where you at Roy? CJ is at Aber moving to Llandwyn in advance of the windshift. Had a look at VD webcam and you're absent. You havent really gone to Holyhead ? Surely not! Looks like a dry weekend then ?

HIYA Bruce

Just returned from Costa del Ty Cocky. What a superb few days we have had on the Costa Llyn.

Thanks for helping out the raggie lot at at Llanddwyn last weekend.
The owner of the lost anchor and chain rode has collected the recovered anchor from Pirates base!

He has provided a small gesture for twoanchors Dave and Dawn.

There is another for the dive boat and recovery crew.
So thats two sips for me and one each for Chris and yourself.

Whats the weather doing next weekend on the Welsh Med?

Not sure. It looks like the winds will start off westerly, move south westerly towards Sat pm before moving N Westerly into Sunday. Gusting to F6 all the time. So looks like it will probably be a Aber job or more anchor banditry round the coves. I guess with HW being slap in the middle of the day it will be mostly if not all Aber for fear of losing prime position. Of course it's also inconvenient gate times for the marina queens so it may just be a stay on the river, drink oneself legless competition in which case we may be raiding you for any excess stock in hand.

Quite possibly the Welsh Med is closed now, but I took advantage of the fabulous September weather and did a cruise from Port Dinorwic to Aberystwyth.

I took some average footage on my phone and have just compiled Leg 1.
I have and will include fuel burn, for the journey.

Enjoy! :ROFLMAO:

I enjoyed that! Lovely coastline. Keep them coming please

Awesome. ? Weather looks superb. Must have been a midweek jaunt because it's been foul the last few weekends typically. Keep them coming

Very enjoyable video . I was watching Timothy Spall on tv a few days ago, I think he was cruising the same area in his “seagoing” barge, but it was filmed about 10 years ago.

Monday 14th - 21st. Pretty much a week of blue skies and flat seas. I packed my bag and went for it.
Working from boat (home) could be the way ahead ?

It certainly is. After a while, you take for granted the beautiful coastline. You get a completely different perspective of it all from the sea.
