The Welsh Med is now open.

That's the one. Not my finest hour.

A raggy did actually say when we arrived, that there used to be a Fairline Sunfury berthed there a few years ago. So it was probably that one.
He never mentioned any perspective buyers falling in - shame, I would have laughed the whole weekend! :ROFLMAO:

I’m seriously thinking about Exmouth or Torquay for next year, I’ve about had enough of the Welsh Government and the marina’s cash cow attitude to non locals.
I feel like I am subsidising local boat owners again right now like May and June, they could quite easily shut the marina, get rid of some staff and give us some money back.
We are hoping to go Falmouth for the season.

Great one! Good to see a Sunfury being used to full potential, excellent boats, both in design and seakeeping. Although the water looked pretty flat, she'll look after you in a whole lot worse.

Yes, fantastic boats. We wish to go further next year, and she will - it'll be us who dont fancy it!

Not many around now that 'work', a real shame for the purists.

?

What's next?

Some footage of Aberystwyth and the journey back, particularly some footage of the coast that we missed on the way down, due to pea soup!

After that, I'll be out.

It'll be over to you 'tuff' lot who keep their boats in over the winter (y) :p

And so it starts again. Hope you got your boat back @LBRodders

Bruce, we've been ashore for a couple of weeks. It was pretty much inevitable, so wasn't going to take any chances. Engine and drive serviced and winterised - boom, job done!

Shame our boat isn't over the border in England, because technically the welsh med is still open, its the mainland that's shut! :ROFLMAO:
