When i saw that red on the arch i thought it was a gull , with piles .

etch primer. Radar arch is aluminium. I tried to remove it for painting. Blew a valve. Conceded defeat. So it gets a paint job by hand rather than spray.

Roy, weather is carp this weekend. Drinks on CJ or Amanzi Sat evening. Sunday is a booze cruise up river by tender. Starting at Liverpool Arms for the warm up catch the flood to Bodnant Gardens to drop the ladies of for some shopping and tea while the blokes head the The Tal y Cafn for replenishments. Bring SUPS too for amusement factor, water skiing, bridge over the mud banks etc. First to fall in buys.

How about this bank holiday weekend? Last year we had a rip roaring time during the break. Huge seas, broken davits, prop rope fouling and dragged anchor several times in a gale. Oh and a near grounding onto Fort Belan / Caernarfon airport when I got their nav aid lights mixed up with the harbour authorities as you do in the middle of the storm. Easily done.

Lightning doesn't strike twice. We should have glass seas and good holding this year.

I would say that the weather looks tosh, but on reflection its about average for the Welsh Med!
