Had my Honda 5Hp serviced last month due to poor starting, got it back £57.00 bill. First time I used it starting was worse and wouldnt tick over. I had to start it at about 1/8 throttle and select gear , which buggered 2 shear pins.took it back to dealer yesterday told him to fix it properly this time.picked it up 4 hours later to be shown that the reason it wouldnt start or tick over was that the receiving plug on the outboard for the fuel line was broken and therefore sucking in air, i had noticed this and thought nothing of it.They replaced the plug and supplied me with 2 spare shears pins and blew out the carb with an airline for good measure.
Clearly not there fault as i think i busted the plug when i took the outboard out the car after it was serviced
Asked the man how much i owed him he said nothing, but surely i owe you for the plug and pins i said ,no we have inconvienienced you enough he said.
Well done SOLENT MARINE HONDA , WARSASH.
