Do you know where Dawn is now?

Miura Hull number 1 is my boat neighbour at Royal Cape Yacht club. Her name is Ocean Blue and was brought down from the Vaal dam a few years ago.She was recently sold but is still my neighbour. This could be Dawn. I have owned the Miura Savannah, pictured earlier in this thread, for 8 years.

There is a boat named Dawn in the RCYC fleet list with a sail number SA 2498 with a length Class CARIBBEA-SLOOP length 9.2 meters

Hi All,
I sailed a Miura out of Simonstown about 40 in the late 80s and 90s. I contacted the folk at the Vaal Dam mentioned, though they are not able to build any at this time.
Was wondering if there are any for sale and where to look. The usual boat sales sites don’t seem to have had many in the past either.
Would be great to sail one in the Jester.

I was just learned that Dicky Manten had passed away. That is why they could not build you one. he was the mater builder. So sad he was a really nice guy. Manten marina built more than 20 Miura's in their day and Dicky sailed one himself.
