The Med in Winter

Not weighing the anchor yet in Sant Carles but this is certainly of interest to me, I suppose the advantage of having a boat is if you see anything bad developing you just weigh the anchor and run....!

We saw a few UK flagged boats doing just that, loaded onto the ferry a couple of weeks ago when we returned to the UK from Bilbao.

Sooner C19 is over the better - difficult times ahead I think for many....

It maybe October in the rest of the world but here in the South of France it’s still lunch on the beach ?

Got photographed by a stranger on facebook yesterday. He posted the pic on a local community forum. Med winter conditions clearly very challenging.

blx,

do you eat anything else Bouba?
at least your partner eats a salad, how about trying that for a change :p
all the pics of food you've ever posted feature a burger and chips (ah, and a zero coke...)
I’ll be honest, I do like a burger and chips (and it’s true I have Coke Zero with everything). If the French made pies then I could be persuaded not to have a burger......

I'll be honest too, probably France is not the country for you mate...

Burger (in this format together with buns, sauce and bits of grass in the middle) is a last resort food to keep me going and I'll probably end up having a cheese and ham sandwich instead.

[I feel that's as pointless as trying to explain to my 18yo daughter that snails are a delicious dish]

Today was just about calm enough to venture out on the boat to look for a nice restaurant for lunch. I fancy a.....??

And before you think I’m completely under Vas’s mind control, I had Coke Zero and chips?
Convincing my dog that I only had salad wasn’t easy ??

Good morning everyone!
This is the Med in winter, not the Welsh Med or even the Medway but the blue Med

The live aboard look is deliberate
