Went clay shooting the other day. My club is 100 yds past the Cock Horse at Headley. Had a good round and with my aggregate score put myself in A class..woohoo. Anyway I digress. Seeing as it was lunch time and I was with a mate we popped in the Cock Horse for a swift pint and sarnie.
Shock Horror!! its changed hands.The name has been shorten'd to "The Cock" and the decor is pink and white!! The countryfied ambiance has somewhat gone in favour of "poofy chic" with nice comfy leather sofas etc etc. So if your thinking of going to the Poofs Parlour and spending a pink pound on a pink gin then I'll be else where......probably the Chequers at Walton on the Hill where men are men and wimmin' are wimmin'......just thought I'd let you know.
