NoCE in the UK?
Should that not be UKCA approved?
The UK Government has decided to accept CE marking indefinitely .
So really no one will be bothering with UKCA marking .

I use a UK designed and built Ebac compressor type designed to operate in 3-35C.
It has several protection modes, and the 2850e currently selling for £279 direct from Ebac.
No connection to the business, just a satisfied customer of 15/20 years.
Ebac 2850 Dehumidifier with Smart Control
We have the same experience with that brand, and to get it repaired was more than a new machine. We went elsewhere and are more than happy with our Siemens, so far it has lasted double the length of time the Miele lasted.Their washing machines are pretty decent too.
7 years parts AND labour warranty so they must be confident.
Son no.1 also bought one.
Better than our German friends products as well as cheaper.
My Meile machine packed up after 4 years and was £1k plus, not happy....
My Meaco DD8L is using about 30p per day in electricity at the moment. . . .
I haven't blocked the vents in the boat up yet but when done this should reduce energy use.
Not really . Just wasting a bit of energy. The vents are quite small. I will be sorting the sealing of the vents tomorrow.Ah, so it's you drying the universe out!
48kwh so far this month. The tall columns represent recent cold nights when I’ve had tube heaters running during the night. With the big temperature swing from around zero in the week to 15 degrees C overnight on Saturday night and Sunday the Meaco had been working overtime on Sunday. This despite the air vents on the boat now sealed.
I visited the boat Sunday afternoon and the boat interior felt comfortably dry and cosy while the engines were dripping with condensation.
It's these times with large temperature variations when condensation could be a real issue for accommodation spaces on the boat. The dehumidifier deals with that nicely. Its an expense with electricity but saves a potential greater expense if condensation should encourage mould.
I have only had my Meaco 6 years (almost 7).The Meaco has run faultlessly every winter for the last 12 years,
