the best bit of kit i bought recently was a set of kneepads. its amazing how many maintenance tasks involve kneeling and i don't suffer from the pains i used to get after spending half an hour on my knees

I have to buy a magnifying lens to read the nautical chart, I must be that old.


What other equipment should I consider in the next 5-10 year sailing budget ?

Fitting pee-tubes to cockpit drains!

You'll need one for port & one for stbd tack.
