Excellent pub grub, great beers, appropriately, busy pub, the one nearest the seafront. If going by boat you will want an offshore North wind, beach shelves steeply, good holding on a sandy bottom more or less in line with the fishing boats on the beach.

We even had to go on a pub crawl round Guernsey for Canada Dry. All they sold was ginger beer!!

Nothing better than a ginger beer shandy with real draught bitter. (On second thoughts perhaps a 12yr old Islay malt)
