Thanks very much for your considered advice. Several hit the nail on the head when they described 'selective availability'. This is what I was looking for.
It doesn't help when I go into a local so called "respectable" chandlers and sales outlet for a large manufacturer, to be told you must have the differential option at an extra £36, (or whatever the cost)!
Thats the third time they have tried to do me over. I may be a newbie but that doesn't automatically label me as a soft touch!!
They tried to sell me a new trailer which in hindsight was too small for my boat, and they suggested an annual out of water maintenance programme which was way over the top (them to service it, of course).
If anyone operates in the N Wales area, or wants advice, products etc from one of the numerous chandlers, PM me and I'll name the company that is feeding me this bulls*it.
