A big THANK YOU to GlobalTrack who have just sponsored me with a global tracking unit so that once I get back to Stingo and fit it (even I have enough skill to do the job - just add 12volts), I will have live position reporting. How nice of them was that?

"Should we all be sponsoring you for some worthy action or other" - Well, if you insist, you can always post me a large brown paper bag stuffed full of used and unmarked twenty quid notes.

They contacted me a while back and volunteered the sponsorship. It probably helped that one of their major shareholders and I were in the army together and that they have future plans to break into the marine market, including cruisers.

With me, they get to test their system for free and I get a free system that will soon be marine orientated.

I've put a guest username and password on my website so that my alleged adoring public and mother dearest can login and, until I actually fit the unit, will be led to believe that Stingo is currently moored on some industrial estate, in the middle of Johannesburg.
