Ten man life raft

Hi got a ten man raft does it have a value it has not been serviced for a few years ,ps how many peeps have life rafts on their mob,os

Ours is also a 10 man .Fits descretly under the seats .Along with this we have 2x ERIB ,s -one self activating ,goes off if boat sinks -well in theory ? Other a small " fast find " in the grab bag -thing is if you are going to enter the life raft -then its probably best you get rescued quickly -I would have thought .

From my experience of being in the shite, you suddenly become a lot stronger! Isn't there a saying, nothing bails like a frightened man with a bucket?!

You might be surprised how strong you can get when the adrenaline flows. Sounds like a fun play item for the Beer & natter party.

When one of our kids was about 12 he fell in off a pontoon, I was still recovering from very major surgery, it was an effort to step over the water on to the swim platform. Still managed to grab his hand and pull him out, he actually went above my head, part of him anyway, no idea how I did that. As a side note we have a six person self righting & wouldn't go out without it.

Hactually, when we run the 'Raft Race' it's normally on neaps at as near as we can to a couple of hours after 'LoW'
Before the Inaugaral one in the early eighties I bunged a big/tree trunk in at Dinorwic and followed said Timber to Menai
I did nudge it a bit before Brittania Bridge just before Indifatigable to make sure it went under the Bridge on the Mainland side
Wherefore said Log missed all the sticky up bits, inc the Platters and ended up nestling up safely on the shore below the old Telford Hotel
So with this recce completed we decided to go ahead with the Event
Ha! but I remember at the 'The Authrities', like the Cops/ Coastgaured etc etc were dead against it!

So the Softy Sufferners won't die even if we casts em adrift there
But if we pile em one of the RIBS, with wind against over the Bar, we might get an Agina attack or some 'brown stuff' dribbling??
