Its a few moths since i posted a message on here, but i thought i would bring those whom are interested up to speed. Well things are moving forward at an unfortunate pace but TP will hopefully be back in the water at some point, and for all you out there that just want to put her down and write her off please look for the positives and try and help, yes she was a gamble and a step into the unknow the first time around but this time we have more knowlage and just need to refine the design. Then we as a country can get behind her and prove to the rest of the world the a British built boat is a fantastic peice of kit, and we can be proud of her and proud of our heritage. If you would be interested in halping in an way no matter how small, you help will be much apprecated. Thanks John

That\'s good news...

I'll pass that on to my octogenarian parents, who made a special journey to visit the home of Team Phillips, and spent some of their pension money on "Team Phillips" branded mugs, "Team Phillips" branded biscuits, etc, etc. I'm sure they'll be eager to help again.

I'd love to help in any way I can. I thought TP was a great boat, and I'm delighted to hear you're having a second go.

I thought from the onset that Team Philips was almost akin developmentaly to the first space shuttle. I am delighted to hear that there are plans to build a MK11 boat and I wish you every success.
Can you please tell me is Peter Goss involved at all?

Call me a sceptic if you like, but I can't help thinking that someone claiming to be a spokesman for Team Phillips would at least be able to spell the name.

I was a great supporter of TP and very disappointed when she failed. I hope that someone will have the vision to try again.

As Team Philips took shape in her shed my restoration took place in the shed next door, Money that could have seen my boat finished earlier went into the visitors centre, Do I begrudge it? Do I hell! Good luck, and this time Kick some butt, Hope Pete Goss is involved because in my opinion, (for what its worth,) he is a gentleman of the old school and is a now rare example of the kind of man that put the GREAT in Great Britain, Good luck, Mike

I do hope it's genuine, it's a shame that the revolutionary ideas behind TP didn't get the chance to prove themselves

Hope they made a beter build job this time - cannot help thinking this was a major contributor to the breaking up of the bow.

When we went to the visitor centre after the bows broke off, they were rebuilding and strengthening the hull. Watched as they laid up rolls of carbon fibre material along and inside the hull.

Couldn't help being surprised that:
a/ there was no climate control operational in the shed and
b/ with the shed doors open there was dust swirling around inside where they were doing the repair

Didn't seem to be quite the high tech starte-of the art operation we were expecting, more like my garage when we built our first Mirror dinghy
