I've been searching but to no avail.

How can I connect a tablet or lap receiving GPS to the VHF?

Thanks a million

Depends if the table is capable of outputting a data sentence that is readable by your VHF radio.

Might be easier to explain what you are trying to achieve and then other possible solutions could be suggested?
Some android devices come with drivers that, with a suitable app can deal with nmea data but all through USB.

Buy yourself a VHF radio with integrated GPS. Dodgy connections always fail just when you need them.

While you are buying a new VHF get one that has AIS built in or can display AIS from an external receiver.

This allows you to make a DSC call using the MMSI number from the AIS display.

and learn how to use all the DSC stuff that nobody ever uses.

The reason you can't find anything is because it's not realistic to do it. The means of communicating from a tablet to the outside world are WiFi, Bluetooth or USB. Using Bluetooth or WiFi is a nonstarter as the bit if interfacing kit you'd need would cost more than a standalone GPS for your VHF. That leaves USB. You can get cheapo USB to serial converters but they usually have the old big USB connector on them whereas tablets have micro or USB C, so you'd need a converter. I don't know if tablets have the driver for them anyway. Then you'd need an app that reads the GPS data and sends it out of the virtual serial port. It's all too much of a faff.

A standalone GPS receiver for your VHF is the way to go unless you want to buy a new VHF with one integrated. The GlobalSat BR-355 is an example for not a lot of wonga (there are others). It needs a 5V power supply from your boat's 12V but they are cheaply available. Ask back here if you want to know how to do it.
