Surveyor in Rome?

Thinking about buying a boat that's currently in Rome. Anyone know of any good surveyors around there. Also if I do go ahead I was thinking of sailing the boat to Southern France and then trucking her up from there. Anyone got any suggestions on places to go and places to haul out etc.

talk to the transport people first. Interboat (use search for "transporter" in MoBo Chat) seems to use la Rague west of cannes, and um another place forgot erm just west of marseilles as an alternative. No idea of surveyor in rome, and a suitable Pope-related wisecrack escapes me :-(
