Been using it on a daily basis for a while now. We did a 16 hour overnight passage from El Hierro to La Gomera ( Canary Islands) last night and the file was pretty much spot on to the hour . . .
Thanks for that input of confidence. I just passed on details of the same resource by phone to a couple of friends currently near Faro, who are doing the local expat FM weather stuff, primarily 'cos she's pretty. And he's not.
They'll have need of a good GRIB resource soon, as they plan to move 10 miles along the coast in search of better wine.
That's right, I noticed that disclaimer too, very sensible and certainly just raises the question that it shouldn't just be taken on face vale, especially when sailing inshore.
The more you play with it the more you realise what a fantastic tool it is. If this can be used to download files in a marina in the med and the data is good it really is a solid dvantage to have.
