Stupid names for boats

I had a friend who built a cat when I lived in Hull. He was registering it in Hull and I thought it would have been great to have called it "Dual" so it would have been

Dual
Hull

Hi all, first post and all that. Many moons ago whilst sailing from
Sunderland YC, a member turned up with a new Fireball dinghy
called "Tappy lappy ower the watter"- quite apt name I thought!

Also (ahem) helped build a Fireball kit, which was christened "The black
banana" cos it was totally ripe and mis-shapen.:D

Saw a boat in Addaya called "The Dogs Balearics" and in the old dinghy-racing days - "Two Anchors"
Was thinking about "Duntakkin" when we sold our IOR and got a motorsailor.
"Bonnie of Clyde" was exactly that, and the people on "The Buckie Lugger" seemed happy enough.

And a mate of mine at school ( a very long time ago) had a Furball called "Big Bright Red Floating Bed".
