and a very annoyed charterer of a Cat trying to get used to saying "Puss Puss" to Dover port control and of course a favorite boat name for VHF coms : "Leg"

Eau Kneau!
The worst name I saw was Wheally Good in Cornwall. The boat may be really good but the name is Wheally Bad!

A boat that has the CG struggling not to laugh is Deep Doggy.

An exchange I enjoyed was "This is yacht Tapioca, Tapioca, radio check please."
"Tapioca, you are loud and clear but barely edible over!"

Eau La La...

I had a Flying Fifteen once which was called Effleurage – however I renamed her Effluent as it better described how I sailed her ....

And didnt 'Wishful Thinking' have a wee friend (dinghy?) called 'Wilful Drinking'?
Something that WT's crew subscribed to most enthusiastically......

I knew a yacht once called 'Bucephalus' - and everybody loved to call her 'Booka Phalus'.

'Uffa Fox Sake' is simply classic!

Boat called "Bootle Bum Trinket" up river from Portsmouth - is this a phrase used in Merseyside or is there some other meaning, or just a silly name(IMHO)!
