Spending the weekend at anchor 😎

Ok…I don’t want this to be a rinse and repeat photobomb…so this evening’s dog walk was on the cliff to get an aerial view

Good morning everybody…nothing but the splashing of fishes and the hum of my generator to disturb the morning calm

Ah…drinking a coffee in the cockpit with the sunshine on a sparkly sea…the simple pleasures…that’s all life is in the end

Got up early this morning…and headed home, all tied up now. The wife is checking the forecast to see when we can go on our next trip….amazing 😀😎👍🏻🙄

It’s a kind of stepping rather than pedal…there are fins that go in a sideways motion which gives it forward thrust like a fish…she can do five knots steady

Bouba, got a link of the company making them? want to see how they work and possibly persuade wife to go for one such thing compared to a simple paddleboard...
if I can find them here at a reasonable price that is!

They come in two lengths....short and manœuvrable or Long and fast....the wife has the long one. And I can tell you right now...you won’t find a cheap one ....they are horrendously expensive

Série Mirage Eclipse Dura | Hobie

Try the board hire companies that set up every summer on all the beaches. They often get rid of their stock at the end of the season

I keep it on the flybridge...using two surfboard cradles that attach to the outside of the railings....I lower the dingy on the port side and the paddle board on the starboard.....it takes another person to guide it from below because it can get unwieldy...especially if the wind blows. The board is hard and can hurt the hull if it’s left to dangle. The dingy is an aluminum RIB but I can launch that by myself because the tubes keep the boat safe

The fins and handle bar are detachable and I store them in the lazaret. The steering fin fits underneath, so that gets put on before I winch it down....the handle bars and drive fins are fitted on top...so can be done while the board is floating

awful site, minimal info, assume it's like an SUP, so inflatable.
one dealer in GR with no webpage and a fb page updated last a year ago.
when you say horrendously expensive a couple of k euro or more? SUPs start at 300
